By car

Scandinavia’s longest and the most beautiful beach is in Yyteri, only a 15-minute drive (18 km) from Central Pori. Follow the main roads 2, 8, 23, and 11 to Pori.

When you arrive in Yyteri, the handy carpark is only a short walk from the beach. The carpark is located at the end of the Yyterinsantojentie road. There is another carpark at the Yyteri Hotel & Spa at Sipintie 1. The carpark near hotel is requires parking fee. The other carpark is free of charge and you can follow the duckboards from both carparks to the beach. The toilets and changing rooms are along the duckboards.

By train or by bus

You can also get to the Pori Travel Centre by train or bus, from where you can travel to Yyteri by local transport. Buses leave from the travel centre and you can buy a ticket (€3.50) in cash directly from the driver. Bus number 34 goes to Yyteri every day about once an hour from morning to midnight. By plane

You can also fly to Pori from Helsinki. Karhu Aero flies twice a day from Helsinki to Pori and vice versa. Book tickets: https://karhu.aero/.

Cycling

Well-maintained cycling paths lead to Yyteri, and once you get there, you can treat yourself to a dip in the sea.
